Awesome Cancelled

Our next Awesome event due to take place on 9th January in Stranraer Baptist Church has, unfortunately, had to be cancelled. The decision has been taken under the advice of Dumfries and Galloway police asking not to travel in the area. As well as this, and due to the continuing adverse weather conditions with the number of people travelling from outside of the immediate Stranraer area to attend, the decision has been taken to cancel the event.

Our guest speaker for the event was due to be Brian Lowrie from MAD Ministries and we would like to thank Brian for his support.

Our next Awesome - Youth Worship event will take place in June where our speaker will be Fred Drummond who is the director of the Evangelical Alliance in Scotland.

The event aims to inspire teenagers and young adults in their relationship with Jesus Christ. As always with Awesome there will be excellent live music from the Stranraer Baptist Church worship band.

We have had 3 previous Awesome events since we began running the event in January 2009. Our previous speakers have been Ruth Hagan a youth worker from Southside Christian Fellowship in Ayr, Alex McLellan from ReasonWhy.org and Garry Brotherston.
